The Greenville Golden K Kiwanis club was establish in September 1985. It started with 35 members. Four Lieutenant Governors of the Texas Oklahoma District of Kiwanis have been members of the Greenville Golden K. They are James Roddy, Carl Reese, Denise Ayers, Pat Bowman.

Over the years, the club has worked on an abundance of projects which include the following:

  • Salvation Army Ringing the Bell
  • Built Shelves
  • Build Bookcases
  • Built Ramps
  • Repaired Homes and Churches
  • Built and Maintained Playgrounds
  • Garage Sales
  • Pickup Trash
  • Drug free Greenville
  • YMCA Baseball Pitch, Hit, and Run

Through projects and fund raising, the club has supported the following local organizations:

The club continues its support to the community and has now reached approximately 40 members.

Each year the club raises money for it projects with a Pancake Breakfast in early spring, Garage Sale in early summer, and Skeet Shoot and Gun Raffle early Fall.

The focus of the club is on hours of service, good works throughout Greenville and Hunt County, and Helping Kids, but most importantly having fun.
