The Greenville Golden Kiwanis (GGK) sponsors the Greenville High School (GHS) Key Club (KC). The GGK is a Certified PVSA Organization with a Certified Administrator (Patricia Wedel). All PVSA awards go through her and she certifies the reported service hours and assures that collection/tracking of the service hours is creditable and orders the awards.
KEY CLUB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Volunteers must complete qualifying volunteer hours within a 12 month period, and certifying organizations must follow program requirements. The 12 month period for the Key Club starts with the school year (first day of classes) and finishes on the last day of summer vacation before the next school year starts.

MISSION STATEMENT
- Serving the children of Greenville and Hunt County.
- To build, retain and support a growing Golden Kiwanis (GK) membership network.
- Help those who need it, make contributions to agencies which help our community, develop SLPs (Aktion and Key clubs) which mimic the GK in working to make Greenville, Hunt County, and the world a better place.
- Insure that we attempt to show every citizen that Kiwanis is a worthwhile organization, makes good things happen, is always willing to lend a helping hand, and that our members are proud to be Americans and citizens of Greenville and Hunt County Texas.
- Continue to generate and effectively manage funds to support club operations at a consistent level.
The Greenville Golden Kiwanis Banners depict the proud history and traditions of this service club which has been in existence since 1985. The club is part of Division 32 of the Texas-Oklahoma District, with four other clubs (Greenville Noon, Paris, Sulphur Springs, and Wolf City. The club met the conditions to be a Kiwanis International Distinguish Club for the 2014/2015 Kiwanis year.
